Broker Review for Highlands and Islands Enterprise
“Highland and Islands Enterprise (HIE) instructed idRisk to help run a review of their existing Insurance Brokers, working closely with HIE’s own procurement team. idRisk provided invaluable industry knowledge, expertise and experience during the process and we found their friendly and professional approach very easy to work with. They helped with drafting the Pre Qualifying Questions, drafting the Tender document, helping with the Broking forum for Questions and Answers, interpreting the Tender responses, advising on the final presentations and drafting the Service Level Agreement and fee negotiations, all of which helped considerably as our core team had neither the time nor the experience to carry out these tasks. All the way through this exercise, we felt comfortable that idRisk were by our side and that we would make the right decision with their help. As a result we have appointed brokers, with a clear service agreement and a fair level of remuneration. I am happy to recommend idRisk to any organization who are considering going through a similar process.”
Keith Bryers, Head of Property, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Inverness.

idRisk Briefing Sessions – TM1: Reduce your Risk in 2006
08 June 2006
In today’s world of increased regulatory compliance, corporate governance failures and pressures on costs, there is a need for real time reporting addressing the key areas of risk within your business.
idRisk has developed, within TM1, an application to manage risk reporting and key performance indicators using meaningful financial information from within the business. Risk performance information is discreetly integrated into the business performance dashboard, enabling senior managers instant access to business critical information.

This work flow capability effectively means:
• risk is identified as it develops and appropriate action taken
• the effectiveness of controls is continually monitored
• regulatory compliance and reporting is efficiently achieved
• you have greater control over the performance of your business.

Conference - Risk Management of Outsourcing
24 - 25 November 2005
Outsourcing of both IT operations (ITO) and business process operations (BPO) are high on the agenda for most senior management teams. The major drivers are cost reduction; focus on core business, and risk transfer. However, it is easy to be over-enthusiastic about the benefits without fully appreciating the risks, and there are many examples where organisations have signed outsourcing deals that turn out to be seriously flawed. To avoid the downside and maximise the upside an organisation needs to take a considered risk management approach to any outsourcing strategy or individual outsourcing deal. This Advanced Master Class and Workshop takes you through the practical steps required to achieve this goal and prepares you for the role of Project Manager or Project Director to run a successful outsourcing project. Our survey, conducted at the AIRMIC annual conference in June, looked at these and other issues.
