He authored risk management documentation for 2 major projects and facilitated risk workshops to populate risk registers at various management levels.
He also carried out risk assessments in support of the assessment of bids to a prime contract office and presented training courses in Risk Management focused on his approaches, and acted as Risk Manager on a bid for a £2B defence contract. |
| Additional Info | : | Project & Change Management: John was in sole charge of managing a £4M Privatisation Restructuring project within the Property and Facilities Services Unit at AEA Technology, Harwell. This involved the design and build of Cat 2 (Radiation)/Cat 3 (Security) Nuclear & Fusion research facility and the conversion of existing Cat 2 (Contamination) building to offices; handled from conception through to handover to end users (Harwell Instruments).
He desiged and implemented new management procedures, project controls and reporting systems in the Devonport Royal Dockyard ship refit facility; particular emphasis was placed on the efficient use of labour resources utilising the company’s Oracle/Panorama based Project Management System.
