As founder chairman Jeff brought together industry leaders to form the BDMA. He assisted with writing the training syllabus, examination questions and undertook compilation of the initial standards. Presented the base for election of the executive committee and initiated launch at Lloyds of London. Made Hon Fellow 2002.
